I have a question that goes with this: Can ya apologize to someone for one wrong on your part without calling attention to all of the wrongs on his? “Even though you’ve done this, that, this, and are a completely disingenuous human being…. I should never have ______.”

How do I eliminate that first part and take responsibility for the second knowing that not addressing the first will come back to bite me?
